What is Graphic Recording?

Graphic facilitation is the use of large scale imagery to lead groups and individuals towards a goal. The method is used in various processes such as meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences. This visual process is conducted by a graphic facilitator.

Graphic recording, or scribing, is the art of capturing the real-time discussions or presentations with text and visuals to help people understand what is being said and make connections. Graphic recording supports events and conversations of all sizes in various ways, including:

• Encouraging deeper listening and open communication
• Creating a common understanding and increasing memory-retention
• Supporting sharing different points of view
• Increasing dialogue and engagement
• Involving major learning styles
• Offering a complete visual of the meeting experience

Surface the insight in your group's conversations and help participants connect with your organization through graphic recording. Graphic recorders work with a myriad of tools such as large scale paper, markers, digital canvases, ipads, screen sharing technology, and more. Below are select examples of my Graphic Recording supporting different projects and ideas:

You have important ideas and information to share. I have a passion for seeing big ideas evolve into action. Together, we can create visuals that communicate with your audience, increase retention, and encourage collaboration.
